Sprints and
clash control
We break the design down into manageable parts and organize them into sprints within the process. Each sprint is followed by a series of clash control sessions. A Boltt specialist receives the component models from the parties involved, merges them in Solibri, and performs clash detection on the combined model. The resulting actions are then assigned to the construction team in BIMcollab. To keep the clash control sessions efficient, we focus on the main issues only.

Lijnbaan
Rotterdam
We developed the BIM model on the basis of a point cloud and supplemented it with deviations from the existing condition identified through archival drawings. Nike’s interior design requirements were incorporated into the model and, because of its impact on the design, the sprinkler system was also included at a schematic level. The new customer lift presented a particular challenge due to the limited installation space within the existing concrete structure. The result was a Boltt project involving multiple stakeholders and a set of complex technical issues.

Rokin District
Amsterdam
The design for two new department stores on the Rokin draws on Amsterdam’s history and gives the Rokin District a renewed presence. The glass canopy forms the centerpiece of the project. Together with Van Wijnen and the other project partners, we helped ensure an integrated approach and close coordination throughout the process. BIM played a key role in this, with the integrated model providing clarity and efficiency.
The Cohesion Cobana
Rotterdam
For the construction of two new residential towers in Katendrecht, Rotterdam, we worked with Heijmans as part of the construction team. Drawing on our extensive experience with BIM processes, we acted not only as coordinating architect but also as BIM process manager for the project. The result was an efficient and fast-paced design process that led to the planning permit being granted in less than eight months.

Q Residences
Amsterdam
Developer NEOO and client Kroonenberg Groep, in collaboration with the American architectural firm Studio Gang, were looking for a local co-architect. The brief included coordination with the City of Amsterdam, guidance through the permitting process, development of the integrated technical design in BIM, supervision of prototyping, and aesthetic oversight during construction. In close collaboration with NEOO, Kroonenberg Groep, Studio Gang, and contractor J.P. van Eesteren, we delivered two residential buildings that reflect the strength of that partnership.
